I’ve always been stuck with a “vivid imagination,” which is really just a polite way of saying I spend way too much time in my own head. My brain is essentially a crowded room full of everything, but until recently, the door was locked by the sheer boredom of having to worry about grammar and sentence structure.
AI finally gave me the key. By letting a machine handle the “complicated” parts—like where commas go or why “there” has three different spellings—I finally got to focus on what actually matters: the story. My debut novel, A Monk and His Spy, is the result of that partnership.
Think of me as the visionary architect and the AI as the long-suffering construction crew. I provide the wild, chaotic blueprints, and the software builds the walls so I don’t have to get my hands dirty with things like syntax.
