How we use artificial intelligence

At Infinite Cræken, we use artificial intelligence (“AI”) as a working tool, much like a spell checker or photo-editing software. It helps us work faster, never in place of our own judgement. This page explains, transparently, where and how we use it, in line with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (the “AI Act”).

1. Texts: AI-assisted, reviewed and approved by us

We may use generative AI tools to help us:

• find ideas and structure an article;
• draft or rephrase a first version;
• translate our content between French, English and German;
• correct spelling, grammar and style;
• summarise or organise research.

No text is published without human review. Every article, page or post is read, checked, edited where necessary and approved by our team before it goes live. Infinite Cræken SAS takes editorial responsibility for all content published on the Site, under the direction of its Director of publication, Anna Calloch.

2. Images: created with AI, never misleading

The vast majority of images on the Site and on our social media are created or edited with generative AI tools. Unless stated otherwise, you should therefore assume that an illustration on the Site is AI-generated. Images we made ourselves (photographs, drawings, graphic designs) are marked “Created by Infinite Cræken” or “Photo: Infinite Cræken”. Any AI-generated image with a photorealistic appearance is additionally marked “AI-generated image” in its caption.

We do not create deepfakes. We never generate images, videos or audio that imitate a real person, a real event or a real place in a way that would make you believe it is authentic. Our AI-generated images are creative illustrations, not evidence or reportage.

Unless stated otherwise, photographs presented as such (for example those licensed on Alamy) are real photographs.

3. Our commitments

• Reviews and testimonials published on the Site are genuine.
• We work with GDPR-compliant AI tools, chosen for their data protection safeguards.
• Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Statement.

4. Our content and AI training

We object to the use of our texts, images and works to train artificial intelligence systems without our permission. This reservation is set out in Article 9 of our Terms and Conditions and expressed by machine-readable means, in accordance with Article L122-5-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code.

5. General information, not advice

Our content is published for general information purposes. It does not replace legal, financial, tax or professional advice tailored to your situation, which is provided only under a contracted consulting service (see Article 13 of the Terms of Use).

6. Spotted an error or an unlabelled image?

If you notice an error in our content, or an AI-generated image that is not labelled as such, email us at co*****@*****en.com with the page concerned (URL). We will correct it as quickly as possible.

7. Updates

Tools and regulations change fast. We update this page whenever our practices change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
